To understand why I chose to start this newsletter you NEED to read this:

According to the census bureau, only 3% of U.S businesses had black owners.

Let me repeat that for you. Out of 6.1 MILLION businesses only 183,000 are black owned.

I don’t think much else needs to be said. Something has to be done about those numbers.

Let me preface by saying this, I don’t think I have some magical blueprint to making every black person in the U.S an entrepreneur or rich.

But I think being informed and having the proper knowledge can significantly increase those numbers. The more people I can reach with this, hopefully the more people I can motivate.

There’s this weird stereotype that black people can’t be founders or co-founders and that the only way to success is through entertainment or the media. That couldn’t be farther from the truth.

My goal is to have a positive impact on my community and the youth, one entrepreneur at a time.
